Europcar and Voltric partner to accelerate EV adoption

Electric vehicle (EV) mobility provider Voltric has joined forces with Europcar Mobility Group UK to make switching to electric easier and faster for drivers across the country.

Under the partnership, Europcar will supply vehicles from its extensive battery-electric fleet to Voltric, enabling the subscription platform to offer a wider choice of EVs to salary sacrifice, business, and private customers. The collaboration ensures that Voltric subscribers can receive their chosen vehicle within two weeks, supporting growing demand for flexible, low-commitment EV access.

With a shared goal of accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility, the two companies combine Voltric’s subscription flexibility with Europcar’s nationwide reach and model variety. Customers benefit from the freedom to book specific makes and models without an upfront deposit, minimal paperwork, and the ability to switch vehicles monthly.

The partnership also strengthens Voltric’s EV Salary Sacrifice Subscription, launched earlier this year, which allows businesses to offer employees EV access with lower deposits, shorter contract terms, and reduced admin compared to traditional leasing.

“We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience life with an electric vehicle without the long-term commitment of buying or leasing,” said Julian Mensah, Co-Founder and CEO of Voltric.

“Working with Europcar will bolster our offering and help us achieve our ambition of turning EV doubters into EV drivers. Nationwide branches and the ability to make a wide range of EVs available quickly, make Europcar a perfect partner.”

Tom Middleditch, Head of B2B Marketing and Sustainability Spokesperson at Europcar Mobility Group UK, added:

“Drivers want to make more sustainable mobility choices but are often held back by the high purchase cost or the significant commitment required to lease an EV. With Voltric, customers can change vehicles every few months, to ensure they always have the newest vehicle, the best tech and the longest range available. Bringing together this flexibility with the option to select a specific model means our partnership is a great fit for businesses looking at salary sacrifice schemes.”
