Polestar launches telematics solution to help fleets optimise EVs

Polestar has introduced a new Fleet Telematics solution to help vehicle operators manage, monitor and optimise their electric vehicle fleets.

Fleets gain from actionable insights that can help them optimise EV efficiency

Developed in collaboration with telematics firms Echoes, Geotab and High Mobility, the new service connects vehicles with the leading fleet management platforms without the need for additional hardware or installation fees.

Fleets gain from actionable insights that can help them optimise EV efficiency through live vehicle data and usage analytics, reduce operational costs with smarter planning and predictive insights, and enhance customer experience via a single, connected ecosystem.

Ramon Lingen, head of global fleet and pre-owned, said: “Given our extensive fleet customer base, this marks a major milestone for Polestar and a big step forward for our customers.

“Polestar Fleet Telematics combines sustainability with intelligence – empowering operators to make smarter, data-driven decisions that benefit both their business and the planet.”

The scalable solution is planned for multi-market rollout and available across Polestar’s product line-up, offering a unified connected experience for global fleet operators.

The current Polestar line-up includes the Polestar 2 electric hatchback, which was given more electric range and technology under a revamp earlier this year, along with the Polestar 3 electric SUV, which set a new world record this summer, and the Polestar 4 SUV-coupé.

The company also launched the Polestar 5 four-door GT last month and is working on the Polestar 7 crossover and Polestar 2 replacement.

Meanwhile, this summer saw Polestar Charge hit the landmark of more than 68,000 charging points in the UK and one million charging points across Europe, while Polestar also launched its home charging solution at the start of the year.
